ADP Partners with National Black MBA Association Chicago for the Premier Chicago Area One-Day Conference for Diverse Leadership & Advancement


Chicago, IL – August 7, 2018 – The Business Leadership Institute: The Circle of Influence Conference is not an event to be missed! The BLI is an annual one-day power-packed conference filled with seminars and networking geared toward industry best practices in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship.


The 2018 Business Leadership Institute will focus on leadership through the art of influence. From uncovering unconscious bias behavior to encouraging “disruptive” innovation, the goal is to share best practices that will inspire all leaders to lead in ways necessary to promote growth and sustainability.


This conference will begin with an inspiring message from plenary speaker Steve Canal, The Brand Executive and Author of “The Mind of a Winner.” Followed by seminars for executives, entrepreneurs, and for career advancement. The panelists for these seminars range from corporate leaders, business owners, authors, and a Ted Talk Influencer!


Conference goers are invited to attend The President’s Luncheon “, The Art of Influence,” with Debbie Dyson, ADP President of National Account Services. They will also have the opportunity to participate in “The Minority Report: Unconscious Bias & The Power of Influence” a Diversity & Inclusion Town Hall paneled by Chief Diversity Officers from Walgreens Boots Alliance, ADP, Nielsen, Heidrick & Struggles, and Groupon.


The conference will conclude with a Diversity Career Fair with recruiters from ADP, BMO Harris Bank, Walgreens, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Associated Bank, Hollister, Inc. State Farm, and more.

  2. Provide continuing business education as a means of improving and maintaining the skills and effectiveness of the members and support the efforts of those planning to pursue advanced business degrees.

  3. Provide scholarships for those intending to pursue business-related degrees.

  4. Encourage scholarly research in those areas of business which affect the Black community.

  5. Provide a service to the community, whenever requested, managerial and technical assistance to Black Entrepreneurs and businesses.
